What a WEEK these last 14 hours have been! I arrived in Florida (yesterday) to assist my cousin with her youngest, while she is on her dream European vacation.

EXTREMELY LONG STORY as SHORT as possible…

OF COURSE…shit happens! So, here it goes…my cousin lost her wallet this morning…hours before her flight was to leave. 😩 We looked all over the house, called several places she had been, just THIS morning (in a timespan of an hour) but NOTHING!

She was EXTREMELY discouraged because without her wallet, there’s no money for the trip. As she looked for the wallet, she began that “negative talk”, talking about she won’t be able to go on the trip. I just started moving her suitcases to the front door. CUZ what’s NOT gonna happen is her stay HERE with me on MY vacation. LOL!

I knew her wallet was going to show up, someway somehow…GOD got this!

I told her, “I’m going to continue putting these suitcases in the truck cuz you will receive a call on our way to the airport.”

She continued to look for her wallet in the house, moved the couch and all; although she knew it was NOT here. She called her Uber driver to see if he found it and still NOTHING. We get in the truck, she put the truck in gear and suddenly broke down. My heart dropped because out of the 46 years that I’ve known this woman, I can count the number of times I have seen her cry ON ONE HAND!!! I immediately try to console her because I KNOW GOD has got this. He wouldn’t bring her THIS FAR just to bring her THIS FAR!!!

So, we jumped on the highway to head toward the airport. We were about 10 minutes away from the airport and she received THE CALL! “I HAVE YOUR WALLET.” Luckily the wallet was just 3 minutes away from the airport.

YES, I AM LEAVING MANY DETAILS OUT! JUST VIBE WITH ME HERE!!!

We pulled up, she ran to grab wallet, got back to the truck and checked to make sure everything was accounted for. But YOU ALREADY KNOW…something was missing! Her MAIN CARD for travel was no longer in her wallet. 🤬

LIKE…WHAT DA HELL?

Anyway, we head to the terminal, I kick her and her luggage outta my vehicle and head to Panera for my caffeine. Cuz like I said, these past 14 hours have been one LONG ASS week. I’m TIYAD!

So, the only Panera near the airport was 23 minutes away IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION of her house (I was so ready for a nap).

Once I arrived at “my office”, Panera; I reached over to grab all my notebooks, stylus and purse. MY STYLUS IS MISSING! 😏 really?!

The F*CK IS MY STYLUS?! 🤬 I had literally just placed it in the seat. Of course, I cursed some more and looked in the seat again, moved my jacket and NOTHING! So, I looked between the seat and the console… “DAMNIT there it is” 🙄 wedged between the seat and the console. I had JUST dropped it down there before we left the house (BUTTER FINGERS FACE ASS) and it AIN’T easy to get it! I tried to wedge my hand between the seat and console but was UNSUCCESSFUL! So, I started cursing up a storm cuz now I have to move the seat to get my damn stylus that was JUST in the passengers seat. 😤UGH! I moved the seat back and couldn’t grab it, so I moved it forward and saw something gold. My eyes got GINORMOUS! I grabbed the gold card, screamed and then called my cousin to tell her that I found her credit card. I ran into Panera to get my charged lemonade (Mango to be exact) and jumped right back in the truck to head RIGHT BACK to the airport! I WAS FLYIN YOU HEAR ME!

Thankfully I was NOT pulled over cuz the mph was 80+ the entire trip BACK to the airport. All I could do was SCREAM at the top of my lungs “GOD YOU ARE SOOOOO GOOD!” and shed a few tears for how AWEMAZING my GOD is! I NEVER gave up hope…NEVER! I KNEW GOD WAS NOT GOING TO LET HER DOWN!

Thank you, God for allowing me to be a part of such an amazing experience and testimony of HOW GREAT YOU ARE TO YOUR CHILDREN!
