It’s January 2023 and I offered to be my lil cousin’s “guardian” while her mother, goes on her dream European vacation in September. Months go by and she hasn’t sent me my ticket info. I asked her about it and she says, “Oh yeah, I need to get that, huh?!” LOL

It’s now weeks before I’m supposed to be in Florida and I still don’t have my ticket info. I inquired again and she sends me my confirmation number etc. I go to check the flight info and OH EMMM GEE! I leave Monday, September 11th to FLY ALL THE WAY DOWN TO FLORIDA…ON 9-11 😱 ay dios mio

A short stint of panic ensued and quickly dissipated, as I knew that God wasn’t gonna let anything happen to me. I mean the whole purpose of the trip is to serve him, right?! YEP! So, I knew I was good.

BUT WHY THIS MORNING?

So, I wake up and prepare for my short flight to Florida. I’m about to jump in the shower and I hear “tip-taps” on my skylight! 😳LIKE REALLY, GOD REALLY?! So, I look up and say, “God, You already know I don’t like the rain 🥴 why when I have to FLY though?”

ONE THING ABOUT ME…

I will call out of work due to a rainy morning. NO LIES TOLD! So, I called my Mom and told her not to come get me until the rain stopped. I said, “You can come around 6:30, it should stop by then.” 😩 It has to stop cuz I don’t wanna 😫 I DON’T LIKE THE RAIN UNLESS I AM ABLE TO ALLOW IT TO HOLD ME HOSTAGE IN MY BED! 🤷🏽‍♀️

SIDENOTE…

Each morning, I wake up and scroll for a bit but I didn’t have time this morning and therefore didn’t see anything 9-11 related.

At this point,

I’m on the plane and waiting for them to pushback. As soon as they mention the cabin has been crossed checked or whatever they say, I got SUPER SLEEPY! I KNOCKED OUT! LOL! After we touched down, I immediately notified my family and started my vacation. It wasn’t until 6:50pm that I realized it was 9-11.

Again, I am thankful! God is awesome and I’m here to share these and many more experiences just like this to encourage you to GET YOU SOME HIM! He’s waiting on you to join HIS TEAM! Life over here is STRESS-FREE! I could’ve worked myself into an anxiety attack but HE REMOVED ALL ANXIETY and answered my Mom’s prayers.
