Earthquake & Kingdom Preparation

It was August 23, 2011, the very beginning of the school year. I had a full classroom of either 3rd or 4th graders and was busy teaching, after our lunchtime recess.

I heard what sounded like the garbage truck coming to empty the dumpster but the sound got louder and louder. As the sound INTENSIFIED, I walked over to the window to find nothing there. I turned, walked toward my desk, sat down and all of the sudden the ground began to shake VIOLENTLY.

UNPREPARED & UNAWARE

The East Coast is not known to have Earthquakes, so I had never spoke to, nor prepared my scholars for an earthquake. Luckily, we were “safe” in our classroom; nothing fell on top of us nor off the walls.

However, I recall the TV mounted on the wall, shaking back and forth like a rag-doll being held by a happy little girl walking down the street.

TERRIFYING…from that day forward, my scholars knew exactly what to do, in case of an Earthquake.

We are living in the last days and these natural disasters are going to occur more often than not! Similar to when Jesus returns…we aren’t going to know when but we MUST be prepared and know how to react.

At the end of the day on August 23, 2011; I heard some very disturbing news. Some of my colleagues chose to gather their scholars and run outside…wrong, Wrong, WRONG! Why? Because the Earth is shaking and when things shake things tend to fall to the ground. Someone could have gotten hurt!

Don’t be caught unaware. Don’t be caught on the wrong side of history. Don’t steer away from the truth. Just like that Earthquake on August 23, 2011 came without warning, without me preparing my scholars for an Earthquake with natural disaster drills.

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2 Peter 3:10

Prepare for the coming of YAH (Jesus Christ) our Savior by studying His word to show yourselves approved. 2 Timothy 2:15

We can’t get ready we’ve got to BE READY. We will continue to see an influx of earthquakes; the Earth is tired and YAH isn’t playing around with a hard headed nation and world that does as they please. Either you do or you don’t!

In other words…

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will HATE the one, and LOVE the other; or else he will HOLD to the one and DESPISE the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” Matthew 6:24

We are to be a peculiar people. We cannot look nor sound like everybody in this world.

“that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Ephesians 5:27 (Please take time to read the entire chapter for yourself.)

God wants us to be READY for His Son’s return. He sacrificed His one and only Son for us and the sins we hadn’t even committed yet…that’s LOVE! It’s our time to give that LOVE back by preparing, by diving into, sleeping with our Bibles, studying to “shew ourselves approved” (2 Timothy 2:15), repenting of our sins and submitting our bodies as vessels to our Savior!

By repenting of your sins, you are casting them upon the enemy’s head! You’re gonna make him pay for every wrong you did due to his promptings.

Prepare yourselves for the Kingdom of Heaven! But ya gotta be clean. I urge you to do a 3-day fast. Fasting requires discipline and action. Prove to YAH and to yourself that you’re disciplined enough to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Then watch the God-head ~ Father, Son and Holy Spirit make something shake on your behalf. I promise you it will work!
