“Submit yourselves therefore to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 KJV

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 KJV

These verses say it ALL. If YAH can give His one and only Son, as a sacrifice and His Son willingly lay down His life; why is it so difficult for us to do the same?

WANT…

We WANT what we WANT, when we WANT it and will do everything in our power to make what we WANT…acceptable.

Dying to one’s flesh is the most difficult act of love and sacrifice. However, in the end will be the most rewarding.

I recall a time when I was battling with an addiction (which in turn is idolizing a thing) and there came a time, I decided to give it up. The withdrawals were HEAVY! At times, I felt like I couldn’t breathe for the lack of consumption…BUT GOD!

There have been times when I’ve fasted out of the blue (this occurred last week) no preparation just an urging from YAH to deny myself of physical nourishment to receive Spiritual nourishment. It was in that time that I leaned in and on YAH for the strength to see my fast through. The closer I got to the end of my fast, the more my stomach began to grumble. However, I didn’t fall! YAHUAH & YAHUSHA have given up so much of theirselves why is it so difficult for us to do the same?

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.” Romans 12:1

Our bodies are NOT our own, they belong to our Master, Our Lord & Savior. These bodies are precious and on loan to fulfill the assignment we’ve been given by GOD.

Ask the Holy Spirit what or whom you need to sacrifice (let go of) in order for your vessel to be used for GOD’s divine purpose and glory, so that HE receives all praise, honor and glory!

A few helpful steps to DENY THYSELF!

1. Fast and pray to break strongholds
2. Feed your Spirit with the Word of God
3. Connect with other believers
4. Execute
