The Summer of 2019, my family and I took a road trip from the DMV to Florida😱

…but I’m here to write about it!

On the way down…

The scenery was beautiful, the music was putting me to sleep and the grandchild entertained us with a visual display of the definition of projectile. Needless to say, it was quite interesting.

Our return…

I drove 12 hours straight. I had a hard time trusting the driver (with my life and the lives of my loved ones) on the way down 95 South. I couldn’t sleep…trust issues 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, yeah I trust my kids’ lives in my hands. It was rough toward the end of the 12 hour drive I chose to make but my adrenaline got us as close to home as possible. We switched drivers about an hour away from home. And I’d do it again!
