Day 147 of my FAITHIVITY Challenge

I’ve been putting a lot of work into my job, as well as my business. However, my job has been sucking the life out of my time to create for my platforms.

Who in their right mind, works 80+ hours before the pay period is over? 🙋🏽‍♀️

Each morning begins the same exact way…song on my heart, turn off alarm, pray and ask YAH to wake me up at 5am for worship. Eyes pop back open at 5 just in time for worship and then it’s time to get ready for the day ahead.

Today was no different except there was no time for an extra 30 minutes of rest. I had to be to work early EARLY! But I didn’t mind!

7:15am start😵‍💫

This was one busy day and I’m worn out! So, HOW can I possibly be thankful?!

Well, I am facilitating a training for high school scholars and as I was picking up a particular student her Father wanted to see who was feeding and transporting his daughter. He came out and was all smiles and said, “I just had to meet the person responsible for feeding my daughter.” He offered to send her with a couple of dollars the next day to offset the cost. I immediately told him NO! He was so thankful and his smile said it ALL!

After the training, another student received a call from his grandfather. He told him where he was, how he was doing and why he was just getting home. As he told his grandfather what the training was for, that we transport and feed them; his grandfather sounded shocked. The young man said, “I know and I’m so grateful!

I’m so thankful because these young people are grateful. They love home but don’t want to leave us when training is over. It’s the little things that will always bring me joy.

I’m thankful too, that YAH saw fit for me to be placed in this position for His glory. I just pray that these babies are getting a glimpse of YAH’S love and grace through this experience.

Thank you, YAH for being there for me and allowing me to reflect your love to these young people. 🙏🏽
