Day 132 of my Faithivity Challenge (written December 26, 2025)

I kinda fell off with posting this week but this is not about that. I didn’t go LIVE on Winning WINSday cuz I felt somewhat defeated.

I am learning a lot about YAH, his character and expectations. What I am currently studying was somewhat brought to my attention through a witch. Yes, a witch!

Some of y’all know that I was a co-host of a podcast with a witch and we discussed many things but one thing that really bothered me was when we had our discussion about demonic/horror movies during “religious” holidays. She mocked christians that celebrate or participate in demonic celebrations and rituals.

She never provided clarity but laughed at the fact that I thought it was wrong for demonic movies to be released during “Jesus’ birth time” and shrugged saying, “What people aren’t supposed to go see horror movies?” But now it makes so much sense why that particular genre of movie would be released during those times.

Jesus’ Birth…

Luke 2:8 says, “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.” 

Ready to go down the rabbit hole a bit, as I provide a bit of Background knowledge?

In Bethlehem, shepherds would watch their flock; by day and night during what is called “Lambing Season” or Spring which typically is from March to April, which is the Spring. Shepherds would do this in order to protect newborns and assist mothers, which was a round-the-clock job. Let that sink in! Did you catch it? 

THE Precious LAMB OF YAH…

was born in a manger; OUTSIDE due to there being no rooms available. YAHUAH would not place His Son in harm’s way by allowing Him to be born in the winter. He was already destined to live a life that would lead to death, why would He allow Him to suffer at birth.  Think about that!

So we now have the Precious Lamb of God born to save us from our sins. Born in March-April just like the rest of the lambs which the shepherds kept watch over day and night. WHEW!!! Did you catch it?

Due to my studies and things just falling into my lap…

I have been breaking the news to my family that I will no longer be celebrating Christmas since 2024. I refuse to have a tree in my house and participate in the celebrations that go along with it. 

I am so thankful for my children! Although they may not completely understand or agree, they have accepted my downfalls and my growth. They’ve had a praying mother, a sage and palo santo burning mother that now refers to God as YAHUAH and YAHUSHA (Jesus).

Then there are those that think I am throwing the Bible in their faces or I’m proclaiming to be this perfect sanctified being.  I am sooo far from that! So much so that I have a tattoo that says “perfectly imperfect” but my goal is to walk and live a righteous life. I have things that I struggle with YES…BUT GOD.

It’s always those individuals that are closest to you, that don’t want to see your growth or that will throw your past in your face and it hurts. But let me tell you something about myself…

ALL MY LIFE I HAD TO FIGHT! 

So, those things are expected and I NOW know that it’s not a reflection of me but them projecting. 

So, I was on the phone with someone about not celebrating Christmas and my reasons for such. They insisted that I “just do this and that” and then told me I was throwing the Bible in their face. Yet, I hadn’t provided NOT one scripture as a rebuttal. I informed them that what I was learning has led to ME not celebrating. 

Not too long after I got off the phone, this verse was given to me; Jeremiah 10:1-5 😳 I was floored! During the conversation, I couldn’t come up with a scripture but as soon as I got off the phone, the Holy Spirit led me to this…

“HEAR YE the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: ² Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  ³ For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. ⁴ They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. ⁵ They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. ⁶ Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.” Jeremiah 10:1-6 KJV

It’s right there! It’s literally IN THE BIBLE that we are not to cut down trees nor adorn them!!! If we do, we are treating them as idols!

I dug a little deeper and found these verses as well because now I’m going ALL IN!

TRADITIONS OF MEN

I researched the traditions of men, as I know the Bible speaks against following manly traditions and this is what I found.

“ ⁹ But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? ¹⁰ Ye observe days, and months, and times and years.”  Galatians 4:9-10 KJV

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditions of men, after rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8 KJV

“ ³⁰ Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. ³¹ Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. ³² What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.” Deuteronomy 12:30-32 KJV

Now let’s go BACK to Galatians cuz it’s gon’ hit even HARDER NOW!

So Deuteronomy speaks against using manly traditions to observe or celebrate him, correct? Then Galatians asks us why do we desire to be in bondage?

And The Truth Shall Set You Free

The Roman winter solstice festivals, which included Saturnalia were celebrated on December 25th. The Catholic church selected this date to absorb and replace this popular pagan holiday. So over the years PAGAN CUSTOMS were intertwined with Christian observances. YOIKES!!! “Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord, which he hateth…” Deuteronomy 12:31

So, there you have it!  I just threw the Bible in y’all’s faces and I feel great.  YAH is going to hold me accountable for not sharing that which I learn with those I say I love.  Now, it is up to you whether to research further for yourselves and take heed or NOT!  Now, is the great separation between the wheat and the tares. Which side are you on?

As I mentioned before, I was on a podcast with a witch. It was basically a gossip channel and there came a time when I just didn’t feel right talking about other people’s business because who am I to speak on someone else’s personal business that I really know nothing about?  My heart grew cold to it, hence the great separation! 

While I was doing the podcast, I had several people say they would listen but they didn’t like the fact that I was co-hosting with a witch and therefore they could not buy into the podcast.  Now that the light bulb has come on (for ME) and I am no longer in that space, what is the issue now? Where is the support from those that were apprehensive? cuz ding dong the witch is gone.  🤣😂 Is it now that I am providing too much truth that people do not want to turn away from their traditions or normal way of living that I don’t receive support? 

It doesn’t even matter because ALL MY LIFE I HAD TO FIGHT and I’mma keep on fighting for YAH and HIS MESSAGE! I will not stop due to lack of support or ears that don’t want to hear what is being laid upon my heart. Those that are supposed to will and those that are not won’t and I am okay with that as long as I am doing my part.

“Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13: 45 KJV

I suggest looking up the origin of Christmas, St. Nick, Old Nick, Nimrod, Saturnalia and the rabbit hole will widen as you begin to dig!
